Arena has confirmed that a brand new album will be written and released later in 2014! The release of the band's eight studio album will be followed by a tour scheduled for the beginning of 2015.
Clive: "Next year marks the 20th anniversary of Arena, and we are planning a substantial tour to celebrate this event. To coincide with this tour we are releasing a new studio album. This album is being written over the next few months and will be recorded later this year. It will be a concept album loosely based on an M.R. James horror story, with plenty of strong themes and dark drama… Pure, classic Arena!
Meanwhile, Arena's only concert in 2014 will take place on May 18th in Leamington Spa as part of The Prog Charity Event, Trinity Aid. Check details HERE.

We are happy to announce that tickets for the London Off West End production of 'Alchemy' are ON SALE now! The shows will take place at the Jermyn Street Theatre from 12th to 16th August, 2014 (5 evening shows plus a Saturday matinee).
Jermyn Street Theatre is situated in the heart of Historical London - just a three-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus. Because of the intimate nature of the theatre - just 70 seats in the venue (5 rows facing, 2 rows on side), the production will feature 8 actors. The cast will be announced soon. We are very excited to bring the show to London... and hope to see many familiar faces there!
Clive's visit to South America in March this year has resulted in what might become a turning point for 'Alchemy'. Talks to one of the Buenos Aires major theatre team brought plans of a brand new production of the musical in Spanish! Although details are yet to be confirmed, the show is scheduled for summer 2015.
Clive: "Thanks to my time in Argentina, I had some meetings with a theatre production team, and things are looking very promising. There is a plan in place to produce a full theatrical version of 'Alchemy' in a major theatre in Buenos Aires... in Spanish! The cast and crew would naturally be mostly Argentinian but there is a strong whisper that the original band (Mark Westwood, Scott Higham, Kylan Amos and Claudio Momberg) may be asked to provide the core of the music over there. There is also a strong probability that the talented Noel Calcattera would star in this production as Amelia. We are not just talking a one off gig there... we're talking a 'season', and that is very exciting!"

Clive: “So, I am still coming down from my trip to South America. I had a great time in both Argentina and Uruguay. I even crossed a street into Brazil. I just wanted to thank everyone who looked after me so well over there. Special mention to Fernando Gomez and Maria, and of course Ricardo Rosenblatt and Eli. I had a great time, and I hope you enjoyed the English cooking!
Many thanks also to Gonzalo Ares, Lore Pescio, Noel Calcaterra and Claudio Momberg for their wonderful contributions to the Cavern show in Buenos Aires, and to all the lovely people who came along and provided such enthusiasm and warmth to that excellent gig. And to Gustavo Ghisalberti, of course who helped to make this sell out show run so smoothly. Thanks again, to all of you!”
On March 4th, 2014 the audience will have a chance to see Clive and his guests perform at the Buenos Aires famous rock venue, The Cavern. After four years Clive is returning to South America for his only concert scheduled in Argentina this year. We are pleased to announce that the event has been already SOLD OUT!
Clive: "The gig I am doing in Buenos Aires will be a small and intimate experience. I plan to perform material from various acts and albums I have been involved in. I have some guests who will help me along with this, but basically we have a piano, a guitar and some voices! Thanks to the added involvement of Gonzalo Ares (guitar), Lorena Pescio (voice), Noel Calcaterra (voice) and Claudio Momberg (keyboards), this will be a nicely varied show."
