Good to see your site up and running though how you find time for it being so busy with so many projects I don't know!

Just to say good luck with the site, Caamora in South America (hope it's recorded) and looking forward to the Shadowland DVD release.

Uwe ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ): Wonderful dark things happen - Shadowlan...

Hello Clive,

yesterday I went to the SHADOWLAND - Gig at the BERGKELLER - for that I have to say to all of you a big THANK YOU. Still classic rock is alive and exclusive musicians playing in this small "Uwe`s livingroom". All the time it is a great pleasure for me to see such hard working musicians and...your new CD is a very fantatstic compilation. Only a short time before I saw you together with the PENDRAGON there. And there was no good visibility for the future with the BERGKELLER. But now hopefully the dark time will be over and a new start will help the indepentend and smart rock music.  I wish you and all your friends all the best for the future, very good help conditions and I hope to see you soon at LORELEYCool

All the best and THANK`s

Uwe

Rusty ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ): Question regarding lyrics

Clive, I have a comment, then a question. I am 52 years old. Was introduced to prog rock back around 1970. We here in GR Michigan called it underground music, because they did not play that sort of thing on the radio. My prog listening roots began with early Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Atomic Rooster and Dust just to name a few. More recently, my interest is with groups such as Arena, Porcupine Tree, Pendragon, IQ, etc. What I like the most with these groups, is the creativity and though put into the music. I believe Arena is on top of the heep in regards to instrumentation. They lyrical content is a concern for me, which leads to my question. While "Dark" subject matter is common among prog rock bands, it's apparent that Arena's main focus is the Dark Side. My question is, what led you to the Dark side? Still enjoy your music. Rusty

The Butterfly Man ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ): Inspring my Novel...

Clive,

Just wanted to say that I'm obsessed with your music from Caamora to Arena and in between.

Arena is my favorite band.  I'm wondering if for this next album you are planning on doing touring in the United States??? New Jersey/New York perhaps? I have to see you live before I die!

I watch Smoke & Mirrors at least once a week!

I'm currently in 2nd drafts of "the next harry potter" fantasy series for teens/adults and I just wanted to tell you how inspirational Arena albums have been in creating my novel.  Contagion, Peppers Ghost, etc. they are all a part of my writing routine.  You will each individually get thank you's in the early pages of my book! It's going to be huge I can just feel it.

Clive, what a great show you all of Pendragon gave in Madrid! You're also extremely nice and accessible people, which is always very comforting. :) Keep on rocking the keyboards! (Both musically and physically like you do!)
